A couple of weeks ago I spent a hot day shooting a 6 metre wide record turntable in Mile End skate park. It was for Olly Murs’ new single ‘Heart Skips A Beat’. We were surrounded by the public, kids skating and had break dancers, double dutch girls and kid drummers at hand to perform on the record, with Olly and The Rizzle Kicks who provide some vocals in the song.
On driving back in the taxi that night, with a beer in my hand and Dylan’s ‘Times They Are A Changing’ playing on the radio it struck me that I’d just made my first ‘pop music video’.
Here’s a link to my new video for Dry The River. It was a hell of a shoot & by that I mean a lot of fun. The band was really put through the wringer & took it like men. It’s in their eyes. No rest indeed.
MAKING OF NO REST
More of this on it’s way..
